On May 17, OSF attended a conversation with Vlora Çitaku, Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo to Washington DC, and Christopher Hill, Dean of the Josef Korbel School of International Studies. The event was co-hosted by Denver Women in International Security, and the Inclusive Global Leadership Initiative. Ambassador Çitaku spoke on the triumphs and challenges Kosovo faces on the international stage nearly 10 years after declaring independence, namely recognition from European States and admission into the European Union. We were happy to learn that nearly 40% of Kosovo’s foreign ambassadors are women, and that women-led civil society groups remain strongly represented in government.
